Police Jude report was pres~nt~d. Motion way Yr~ade by Eb~r~v3.ller and seconded by Gays that the report be approved. Motion carried. Reports of the Patrolmen wire presented. After ~t~ch discussion a~ to eh~ngin~ I No. 1 to read.; the Comity Commissioners shall appoint 1 member to tie board for 1 gear teen and 1 ~~~nb~r to a 2 y~;ar term; one member residing outside the City li~it~ of Billings and Laurel; and under No. 1 letters b & e be ~han~ed ~o read; the Nl~.yer shall appoint one member to the board for a year term with the approval of the Council. Black made the motion t;}~at the council tentatively ~.pprnve the a~r~ement with the above changes. Parkcar ~ seconded and the motion carried. Horning reported on the fi].n~s shown bar the Fire Department. ~I' Gasp re~o~ted there are many dogs in the parks and at the school I grounds. The Mayor added th~.t and dog that i~ not properly 13.cen~ed or Caged should be picked up immediately. Black made the motion and Jones seconded that the dog quaranteen be Maxch 1 through March 1~. Motion carr3.ed. r~ Yovetich reported he ~hou~ht the Council ~,nd Ghamb~r off' Cc erca~ should t~.ke ae~ion to have the N.P. Depot available to people tr~.ve13.~.g on the pa~sanger train. The Clerk was instructed to writs a letter to tie tiperint~ndent of the i~. P. Thy Mayor re~or~ed on then Montana Leag~are of Cities & Tc~wn~ he and Ebersviller attended in Helena. Da,1~~r reported that the Hi~hw~.y Department has contracted to put up new ~ign~ on Main Strut if we agree to remove our ~ign~. It was the ( op~.r~ion of the council tea agree to this arrangement. I~ Bradl~~r and Daley reported that w~ have a $2,~69.0~ repair bill ;j on the water mains on ~t Avenue. ~a1~y added that, either the FI3.ghway Dept. or Studer Con~truc~3on should be r~~ponsibl~ for this bill. Daley i~ to i arrange a meeting with Studer Construction, the Righway ,D~p~.rtm~nt and wit2~ the Street &c Alley Coitte~. Them being no further business to comae before the ~oun~3~1 at this k time, motion way drily made: and seconded that the meeting Y~~s adjourned. Motion carried.
