A regular ~eetin~ of the Ci~~r Council of the City of ,Laurel, Monta.~a,
was held in the Co cil Chambers and cal.l~d to order by Mayor Kenneth 07.son,
at ?:3fl o'clock, P,M., on Tuesday, January 21, 1969.
Upon taking roll c all, the folloyain~ Aldermen answered present

`The minutes of the prev3.ous ~set3ng were read. Motion was made by
Jones and seconded b~ Parker that the minu~~ss be approved. Motion carried.
Minutes of the special meting of Janua~ 13th were read. Motion
was made by Sauthworth and aeconded by Horning that these ~i.nute~ be approved.
MQtion carried.
Certain reports of the City of Laurel wire presented fs~r ~.pproval. as foll.ow,~ : Cler~C's Cash Report; City Treasurer' ~ Financial A~port; Cit~r
Clerks Trial Balance; Motion wa.~ made by Yov~tieh d seconded by 5outhworth
that these reports b~ ~.pproved. Motion carried.
City C~.er~s requested permi.~sio~ to leave t~Y~e St~.te. Motion was made
b~ Yovetieh and ~eeonded by Parl~~r ~h~.t permission be granted. Motion carried.
Airport lease with Sol Seh~!s~ler was presented as follows

THIS AGREEMENT, Made and enured into by and betw~~n the AIRPQRT
COMMISSION of the City of Laurel, a n~~nieip~.l corporation, and SOIL SCHOESSLER, Of Laurel, Montana:
Motion way ~a.de b~ Southworth and seconded bar Parkes that this lease be
` aec~pted. Motion c~.rried,
Gaston stated that he had an application for Lenhardt to attend
a Police meeting at some future date:. Motion was ~.de by Horning and seconded bar Jones that permi~~ion be granted. Motion c~.rried. 7
Dave Powers, Fire Chief, repc~rtefl that there would b~ a film shown
in the fire dep~xtment and he invited all the Aldes~m~n to attend this ~~howin~.
Mayor reported. a meting with Reinhart and Union Tank. 5ug~~sted j: ~rping to het the County to Mart Mock piling fill d3.rt.
Horning reported Qn the Cemetery Board meeting. Cemetery in tl~~s j~
process o~ finding another man.
Southworth repmrted that the refinery workers that are on stri.k+~ might need Welfare from the State.
Parker regort~d that it was the red o~runendatic~n of the Park Co itt~e,
working with Pete '~homson to hire Leonard ~ish~r for the Park job in pla~~ of
H~nr~ Strecker who i~ ~etirin~. This job to be of sic mon~h~'~ probation.
There being mo further buineas to come before tY~e Covn~il at ~h.3.~
session, motion eras duly made and ~eeonded that the meting be ad~ourn~d.
