A regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel,
Montana, w~.s hAld in the Council Chambers,, and was called to order by NlaJor Kenneth 01son, a~t~ 7:34 o'clock P.M., on Tuesday December l~~ 1970..
Upon taking roll ea11 the following aldermen answered prRSent:

read. Motion was made bbl Ebersviller and secondEd by Beslanwitch that the ~
minutes be approved. as read. Mation carried, j
Certain reports of the Cit~r of Laurel, Montana, were ,?resented !~I, t' for approval as follows : City C]_erks Cash report, City Clerks Trial Balance, 1
c~ and City Treasurers financial statement. Motion was made by Parker and
seconded by Beslanwitcr that these reports be ~pprov~;d. Motion carried. j

Motion was made by Ebersviller and seconded by Beslanwitch that these bids be turned over to the purchasing; Committee, Strut and Alley Committee,
and Daley, Motion carried.
Clerk a.nnouncec~ that License Plated wi11 be gold on the following
Saturda~js : Jamzaxy 16, January 30, and February 6, 1971. 1
Val1y Knoll from the Gem Floral appeared before the Council to ~
r~qu~st that the City reserve one parking space in front of his place of
business, or enforce the 2 hour ~arka.n.~ limit. This would be from 9:00 a.m.,
to 6:00 P.M. Motion was made by Ebersviller and seconded bar Jones that
this matter be turned over:ta thc~ Police Committee s~rith authority to act
immediately. Motion carried.
Gaston reported on the dances at Riverside Ha 11 anti stated that
they have been having clot of trouble lately. The Police would like to
have three deputies and a list of rules for all dances. After discussion,
r this matter refereed to th.e Policy and Park Committee to report at the
next council meeting.
There being no further business to came before the council at
~ this session, motion was duly made and seconded that the meeting b~
u adjourned.. Motion carried.
