Eber~viller, Sr. John B~:slanwiteh Louie Yovetich The minutes of the special me~tin~ of July 10th were read. Motion 'I wa.s duly made and seconded that the minutes be approved as read. Motion carried. ~I The Minutes of the Special meeting of July 2flth w~.re read. Motion was duly made and seconded that the minutr~s be approved as read. Motion i, carried. Thy Minutes of the Special meeting of July 22nd were read. Motion II was made by Beslanwiteh and seconded by Ebersviller that the minu~~s be approved as read. Motion carried. Thy Minute of the Special meeting of July 22nd were read. Motion ~I was made by ~bersvill~r and seconded by Beslanwitch that the minutes be approved a~ read. Motion carried. !a Certain reports of the City' of Laurel, Montana wire presented for 1 approval as follows: pity Clerks trial balance, City clerks Cash Report, j and City Trea~ur~r~s Financial report. Motion w~~ made by Beslanwitch and seconded by Ebersviller that these reports b~ approved. Motion carried. Mr. and Mrs. Art Apers anp~ared before the Council in regards to their daughter who had been pushed into the swimming pool when it wa.s nearly empty b~ another lifeguard. Beslanwitch reported that the park committee had met with the recreation board and had suggested that the boy b~ fired. { The Recreation Comm7.tt~e stated that they d.id. the firing and ~ r3.ng and that k~ they were going to dive the boar another chance. Da].e~r stated that the ~1~,3.ms for the Industrial Accident ?3oard havE begin filled out and Sent in but we ha.~e nit heard from them. Bradley to call Industrial Accident Board. B~~lanwitch stated that if the industrial accident doesn't pair her wades that the City should sine it way a city' employee who pushed her in. Bradley stated that C! the Industrial Accident will not pay if this was horseplay. Dale~r stated that when phis happens a E claim should b~ turned in and that person will get paid out of whatever fund he h~.s been working under. r, Horning reported that the Police Committee would, lilee to recommend that the bid for the Pol~ee car `from Fitchner Chevrolet b~ aceepte~d. Motion j' wa.s made by Parker and seconded by Ebersviller that this reeomm~ndation be ace~pted. Motion carried. Horning stated that he would like to recommend that Charles Rodgers be appointed a~ lath Ward Alderman to fill the unexpired term of Walt Parker s' w who has re~i`,med. Motion was made by Beslanwiteh and seconded by Parker a that t~~is recommendation be approved. Motion carried. k Horning asked permission to leave the state. Motion way made by Ebersv3.11er and seconded by Beslanwitch that permission be granted. Motion carried. Mayor appointed a building ordinance Committee ~ con~ist,ing of Lackm~.n, Chairman, Ted Johnson, Louie Yovetieh, Jackson G Pa;rk~r, Jczi?n Daley, Tom Bradley, and Merritt Williams. Clerk to writs a letter to Lackman stating the members on this committee. r Mayor sit urn a committee for re-zoning the wards consisting of r~ Second Ward Alderman Lyle Jones, Chairman, First Ward Alderman E.H. Ebersvill~r, Thir~ Ward Alderman John Be~lanwitch, and Fourth Ward Alderman Rop Horning. 'w Mayor reported on the action being taken at Firemen's Park. r Bradley stated that it was a law now that if the City Water li.n~s r' ~o outside the City Limits that ,you have to serve an~rbody who wantd ~o tap on . There being no further busin~;ss to come before the council at I' ~ this ~es:~ion, motion was duly made and seconded that -the meeting be a.d~ourned. Motion carried.
