f A Special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, i ~ was held in the Council Chambers, and was called to ord.~r b~ Mayor Kenneth E.
C 01son, at 7:3~ o'clock, p.M., on Trdedne~day, August 5, 1970.
Upon taking roll call, the following aldermen answered pre~en~

This mePtin~ was called according to law and advertised for the I~
purpose; of hearing any and all protests o.f ta~cpayers to the proposed 63 mill levy I
for the fiscal year 1970-1971, and other tax resolutions.
~ No persons havzn~ a;;apeared before the council for the purpose of ICI
protesting? these proposed taxes, after a reasonable time, motion was duly made
and seconded that the meeting be adjourned. Motion carried.
