After dis~us~ian, and few ch~ng~s to bps made in this contr~.at, motion was made by Kilpatrick and seconded b~ Bohm that this can~ract:_ be approved and adopted for a p~mbationa~ry period. Motion carried. Ebersviller brought up the sub~eet of the Po1~ce ,rid the !~~-hotar work-w~~k~ and mention that the police had been paid overtime for July end August alread~r. He feels that it is the duty of the Cozancil to recover this ov~r~3.me ~nc~ Stated that the pay should be at the July 1st, 1971 rate after the last 3.ncr~asa 3n ply. Bradley stated that the Council should wait until we het a full copy of the report of the law. 9,fter di~cussiem, motion way m~.de by Eberstir3.ll~r and ~eeonded by Behm that the City Council go on record ss being opposed to the Montar~~ Power Company proposed ir~cre~se in rate. Motion c~.rri.ed. Ebersviller stated that he F~1t the personnel committee was being by- passed by not being inelud~d 3.n some of the meetings. T2~e ~la~or then appointed Eber~viller to sit in on any meet3.n~~ a~ Pre~iden~ of the Council, Eb~rsvill~r also reported that he discovered the Couna3.1 had nppo ~t~~d are &s~aista~t Chief of Police. Also stAted that during labor negotiation, th3.~ request had been tuzmed down by the P~r~onnel Co~runitte~.. This matter ~o be d3.~cus~ed at a later time. Kilpatrick asked that another litter be gent to the Great W~~terrl auger Ccampany re~araing the matter of fill.in~ in a hole on cesr~ain property vacated by the Compr~y. Parker reported that with regard to the proposed w~,t~r inereas~ he had heard noth~.n~ but good since the ir~er~as~ way ~o small. Parlor also reported on mee~3.n~~ of they 1~mbta7.ane~ Committee, and an audit on same. ~ber~vri].lsr st~.t~d that Parlor should b~ ec>mmended for the expellent fob, and many hours spent in ~rorldn~ this ot~t. City Clerk to ca11 Stan Aby of the Firm of Dais, Kalman & Quail which has our water bands, and aa~k that h~ r~ecrmmend a Firm of CPA~a to do this audit. The Mayor read s l~;tter from srnne people in Butte, commending dike Naglich, Bob ~owe11, end Dr. Calvert for ~xc~llc>nt help when they needed it.
