The minutes of the previous me~~ing were read. Mot~.on made by Burns

Certain reports for the ~no~th of Atovember were presented for approval
as follows: City C1~rk~~ cash report, Ca.~y Clerk's trial balance and ~~ty ~I
Treasurer's F3.rxax vial Statement. Motion ~~.de by Eber€~v3.11er ~d seconded by
Metzler that these reports stand approved. Motion carried. ~
Police Jud~~'s report For the mon-~h of Atover~ber wat~ presented for
approval. Motion made b~ Rodgers and ~eeonded by Burns that we accep~G this
report. A'lotion carried.
Mayor complimented E1s~~ Johnson and Mrs. M~q~~s cif the Laurel WOmen~s ~I
Club, on a Sob w~11 done, they had instituted the building across the street
for aluminum ean~. Elsie Johnson sugested that they put a can a].Qng side the drop for cans that are not ~1.um~.num.
Ma;~or re~.d a Christmas card from Inez Vaughn.
Tom Hardy representative from tY~e Cammunit~ Action Program., says that
this program conflicts with his Sob Bond is not able to attend the ~neet~igs. Tom ~I
would like to have Nirs. John Hawley Smith as the new representative. Fi~s~ motion wa.~ made by Eber~vller and ~e~onded by Rodgers that Hard be d3.~sm3~~ed a~

Kilpatr3.ck that we accept the appointment of N~rs. John Hawley Sm3.th as new
representati~re. Lotion carried.

Metzger Mated that since Januarg 1~ i~ a legal holiday we ct~snge the
meting to January 2nd.
Behm reported some compla3.nt~ about the ia~ $kat3ng r~.nk.
Beht~ also r~por~ed complaints about the blinking; light on 1st Aver~~a~ ICI
and 6th Street, 3.t doe~n~~ change at the s~m~ ti~??~ ~v~ry morn3.~g. He asked if
it could be set at a desirable time. Engineer to chick this matter.
Rodgers reported on snow removable. He a,~ked whit the cotaneil wanted to do about cl~arir~g the sidewalks, ~tre~t~ end alleys.
